Modern Stories Mix features Susan Kent, a writer and storyteller based in NYC. Susan is co-host and curator of Tell It: Brooklyn. She’s performed her stories live at RISK!, The Moth, Yum’s the Word, and a variety of other shows around NYC. She recently premiered her first solo show, Into the Belly of the Beast, at SoloWeek (presented by The Tank Theater) at Standard ToyKraft.

Her story, “Trust Me,” was recorded in the Modern Stories Studio in Westchester, NY and produced by Julie Threlkeld. The in-story music, “Morbid Imagination,” was composed and performed by Kai Engel. The outro music, “Little Strings,” was performed by The Losers and was licensed from Needle Drop Co. Other sounds are courtesy of Freesound.org. See the “Sounds” tab for a full list.
