Modern Stories Mix features Nisse Greenberg, a performer and educator who lives in search of the types of attention he can’t give himself. He is the creator of Drawn Out Storytelling, VHS Presents, and Bad Feelings, and has performed all over the place. He’s won story slams for The Moth and First Person Arts. He’s about to work on a new project that might be called “Working Class” that will be up on his website/playground: nissegreenberg.com. (He’s planning on changing the way that looks soon too.) He has a lot of plans for the future and none for the present. It is what drives his anxiety.

Nisse’s story, “The Classifieds,” was recorded in the Modern Stories Studio in Westchester, NY and produced by Julie Threlkeld. The in-story music, “Anandamide,” comes from Distant 294.
